Does Sicily literally rock?

Known for Europe’s tallest and live vulcano - Etna - Sicily is undergoing “reconstruction” from time to time. So yes, when Etna is erupting, the area around might quite literally rock.

But there is more; fertile plains, rolling hills and large valleys in it’s interior. Just to mention a few of thes landscapes. Colors can be cozily dull in the summer heat and vibrant and sharp other times of the year.

These pictures were taken on some very hot July days with pleanty of heat flickering.
