The Northwestern part of Iceland with its wild and unspoiled landscapes. Remote and difficult to reach.

The Northwestern Fjords are ancient, rugged, and remote. Few people get there. But the Fjords are dramatic. Waterfalls are powerful. The landscapes are truly wild.

I was there on a fall photography workshop. And was very happy that I decided to go.

The western fjords and peninsulas in vibrant and warm late fall color. The pictures were taken just before the first snow arrived.
