Madeira is well known for it’s nice costal towns and it’s variety of vegetables and fruit. But it is really in the island’s interior rugged landscape where you find serene and original sceneries.

There you find dramatic, high altitude (but not too high to climb) volcanic peaks, high plateaus, and deep green valleys.
